As I stood in silence by the bay window drinking my morning green tea, I noticed all the Christmas presents around the tree. I start to feel thankful.
Although Thanksgiving is over, that doesn’t mean I have to stop saying what I am grateful for. So I begin to reflect on things I am grateful.
I am thankful for…
My little early risers: My children and dog
A messy house full of toys: A place to call home
Laundry pill on the kitchen counter: Clothes to wear
Sink full of dirty dishes: Food to eat
Bathroom to clean: Flushable toilets and running water
7 to 4 job: Income and a career
Busy weekday schedule: Kids school schedule and after school activities
Weekend back to back events: Families and Friends
Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for.
There are endless things all around us to be thankful for. What are you thankful for?
